Louisa O’Toole is a committed and respected arts leader with 35 years’ experience working with the nation’s leading artists and arts organisations.
A graduate of the Australian Ballet School, following a successful career with The Australian Ballet, Louisa worked for organisations including Arts Centre Melbourne and the Sydney Myer Music Bowl. She then took up leadership positions at the Sydney and Melbourne conservatoriums of music, The University of Auckland’s School of Music, and the Goldner String Quartet.
Most recently as Events and Engagement Producer and National Engagement Manager at the Australia Council for the Arts, Louisa produced a suite of the country’s most important arts awards including the First Nations Arts Awards, Australia Council Awards and the National Arts and Disability Awards. She also produced many signature projects including the Marketing, Ticketing and Communications Summit for the arts sector, and worked with the nation’s leading philanthropists and artists for Australia’s representation at the Venice Biennale.
