SCC Junior Performing Choir – Mitchell Songfest

The Sydney Children’s Choir Junior Performing Choir celebrates their inaugural year with the ensemble’s first regional tour.
The exceptional group of young choristers, ages 8 to 14, will perform a free concert at Lithgow Uniting Church on 10 June, lead by SCC Head of Training Choirs Amandine Petit and accompanied by SCC Principal Pianist Sally Whitwell. Following rehearsals with Mitchell Conservatorium Young Voices, the choir will perform as part of a Songfest in Bathurst on Monday, 12 June.
SCC will send one of their conductors ahead of the choir, to work with local children from Saturday morning to create the Songfest Choir. This group of 50 young Bathurst voices are a combination of the Mitchell Young Voices and local school children.
Come and join in this magnificent celebration of young voices and the joy of music!
