Calling all children from Year 5 to Year 8 who love to sing!

The Sydney Children’s Choir is coming to Wagga Wagga for a fun weekend workshop. Join us to learn new songs and make new friends, culminating in a combined concert on Sunday 20 October, 11am.

Participation is free, and open to school choirs, community choirs, and choral educators.

Friday 18 October – Riverina Conservatorium of Music
4.30pm-6.00pm // Rehearsal after school just for the combined local ‘Songfest’ ensemble with Gondwana Choirs conductor Anna Fraser, making new friends, building confidence, choral sound and ensemble.

Saturday 19 October – Riverina Conservatorium of Music
9am-1pm // Sydney Children’s Choir arrive and rehearse with the local ‘Songfest’ choir. The artistic team lead the newly formed choir group through a welcome activity, combined rehearsals, sectional rehearsals, morning tea, games, and a final rehearsal.

Sunday 20 October – Henschke Primary School Hall
9am -The Sydney Children’s Choir and ‘Songfest’ choir gather for a final rehearsal and concert preparation
11am-12pm – Community concert for family and friends – everyone welcome!
